Scenehire, Inc. ("Scenehire", "we", "us", or "our") provides software that helps production companies and production teams manage crew onboarding, contracts, documents, communications, schedules, payment records, and related production workflows (the "Services").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit our website, use the Services, receive a Scenehire task link, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with Scenehire.

Crew members and vendors do not need a general Scenehire account to complete a task unless Scenehire specifically indicates otherwise.

If an authorized user connects an email account or other third-party service, Scenehire may access, process, and store information made available through that integration as authorized by the user and applicable third-party terms. This may include email metadata, message content, attachments, contacts, calendar information, or files needed to provide the Services.

Payment-related information

If a production team chooses to use an optional payment feature, payment services may be provided by Stripe or another payment provider. Scenehire may receive limited payment-related information, such as payment amount, currency, payee name, payment status, transaction identifiers, and payout status.

Scenehire does not directly store full payment-card numbers or bank-account information when those details are collected through a payment provider’s hosted flow. Stripe’s own privacy and services terms govern personal data Stripe processes in connection with its services.

Production companies decide what crew, vendor, contract, communication, and production information they upload or collect through Scenehire. In most cases, the production company is responsible for determining the legal basis for collecting and using that information and for responding to requests from its crew, vendors, and other contacts.

If you are a crew member, vendor, or other task recipient and have questions about information a production company entered into Scenehire, contact that production company first. We may direct privacy requests relating to customer-controlled data to the relevant production company.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain appropriate business records.

Customer content is retained while the applicable customer account is active and thereafter according to our customer agreement, account settings, applicable law, and legitimate operational needs. We may retain limited information after deletion where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, backup, or audit purposes.
